Atlanta, GA. July 16, 2024 – Secureworks® (NASDAQ: SCWX), a global leader in cybersecurity, today announced that it has appointed Alberto B. Galarza as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Galarza will lead Secureworks global HR team and functions, with a particular focus on talent management, teammate experience and HR operations. He will report directly to CEO Wendy Thomas as a member of Secureworks’ Executive Leadership Team.

Galarza brings over 20 years of global HR expertise to the role. He joins Secureworks from TELUS Digital where he was Global Vice President, Human Resources. During his tenure, he used innovative technologies to enhance employee support services, was a key member of the leadership team that led TELUS Digital through their IPO in 2021, integrated HR systems and onboarded employees joining the company through acquisition and created a high performing team located across four continents. Prior to joining TELUS Digital, Galarza held multiple HR leadership and operational roles at VXI Global Solutions, SourceHOV Inc and T-Mobile.
